Dustless Abrasive Blasting

The Dustless Abrasive Blasting system is the latest in our service range.

We have adapted this system to suit our client’s needs in order to replace the old sand blasting system with state of the art fully mobile dust-free and distortion-free Dustless Blaster.

Dustless Abrasive Blasting works by mixing water, abrasive and Hold-Tight 102 rust inhibitor inside the blast tank. Driven by air, then introducing water it drastically increases mass and energy that the machine is putting out, while eliminating dust.

Imagine throwing a handful of dry sand, versus throwing a handful of wet sand; which one is going to have a more significant impact on the target? Not only will the wet sand hit the target harder, but it won’t disintegrate and become a cloud of dust like the dry sand will. This is the very simple principle behind Dustless Blasting, outdating the dry blasting method.

The DAB is also faster, uses less abrasive and has the ability to use many different types of abrasive including garnet, recycled glass, plastic beads, and any other media that sinks in water.

The Hold Tight 102 added to the water removes salt which may be present during blasting and stops flashing during drying, leaving NO residue on the steelwork ready for recoating.
